MomeSnap Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the MomeSnap app and the website momesnap.com (the "Service") provided by JMS Tech ("we", "us"). This English version is provided for convenience; if it conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
1. Definitions - "User" means anyone who uses the Service under these terms. - "Account" means the anonymous account created automatically when you first open the app, together with any Apple or Google account you choose to link. - "World Table" means the public area of the Service where meals you agree to share are shown to other users and on the website. - "Post" means a meal record and share memo you make public on World Table.
2. Posting and Changes to These Terms - We post these terms in the app's settings and on the website. - We may change these terms within the limits of the law. We announce changes in the app and on the website 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to you. - If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. If you continue to use the Service after the notice period, you are deemed to have agreed.
3. The Service - AI nutrition analysis and blood sugar impact estimates from food photos and text - Daily calorie and carbohydrate, protein, and fat tracking - Apple Health (HealthKit) and Health Connect integration - Measured blood glucose records linked to meals - Diet challenges, eating-order information, and meal suggestions - World Table public posts and public per-food statistics pages
4. Eligibility You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.
5. Accounts - An anonymous account is created without sign-up when you first open the app. - You may link an Apple or Google account. Linking is required to restore records on another device or to share on World Table. - If you delete the app or change devices without linking an account, you may not be able to recover your records. - Signing in with a different method than the one you linked creates a separate account, and your existing records may not appear. - You are responsible for keeping your device and linked accounts secure.
6. Fees and Ads - The Service is free. Ads may be shown in the app to support the Service; advertisers are responsible for their ads. - If we introduce paid features, we will explain them and their prices in advance.
7. Changes and Interruptions - We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, equipment replacement, outages, or similar reasons, and will give notice in advance where possible. - We may change or end parts of the Service. We will give notice in advance and allow time for you to review your records.
8. Prohibited Conduct You must not: - interfere with the normal operation of the Service; - use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without our consent; - maliciously abuse the AI analysis features or use them in bulk by automated means; - use another person's account or information; or - otherwise violate the law or these terms.
9. Medical Disclaimer - The Service is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. - Nutrition analysis, blood sugar impact estimates, calorie calculations, and other information in the Service are AI-generated estimates for reference and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. - Always consult a healthcare professional for health decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information and are not responsible for decisions you make based on it.
10. Your Content - You keep the rights to the food photos and memos you upload. - We use your content only as needed to provide the Service, such as analysis, records, and backups. We do not use your food photos to train AI models and we do not sell them. - When you share on World Table, you grant us a free license, within the scope you chose, to display, reproduce, and transmit the photo and analysis in the Service and on the website, and to reflect them anonymously in per-food statistics. This license ends when you withdraw the post. - We own the rights to the Service's design, software, and content we create.
11. World Table - Meals are shared only with your explicit consent. Meals you do not share are visible only to you. - The sharing screen shows what is and is not shared, and you choose the scope. If you turn on auto-share, meals you analyze afterwards are shared with the same scope. - Posts appear on web pages anyone can view without signing in and may be indexed by search engines. - You can withdraw a post at any time. We then stop showing it without delay and delete the public photo copy. We cannot control copies downloaded by others or saved by search engines before withdrawal.
12. Your Obligations for Posts - Share only photos you took or have the right to share. - Objectionable content and abusive users are not tolerated. You must not post: · photos or text unrelated to food; · faces, IDs, addresses, contact details, screens, or other information that identifies another person; · photos that use others' copyrighted work without permission; · sexual or violent content, hate speech, or harassment or defamation of others; · claims that a food diagnoses, treats, or prevents disease; · ads, promotions, spam, or repeated identical posts; or · content impersonating others. - You must not abuse the report feature with false or repeated reports.
13. Reports, Blocking, and Our Actions - Photos are screened automatically when uploaded, and sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate photos may be rejected. - You can report posts and block a sharer so their posts are hidden from you. - Posts reported for exposing personal information, or reported by multiple users, may be hidden temporarily until review is complete. - We review reports and may remove posts or stop showing them if they violate these terms or the law, and may restrict sharing for users who repeatedly violate them. - We notify the author of our action and keep a record of the reason. Authors may object using the contact in the Privacy Policy.
14. Deleting Your Account You may end this agreement at any time by deleting your account (Settings > Delete Account). Your records and posts are then deleted and cannot be recovered. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
15. Limitation of Liability - For the free Service, we are not liable for damages unless caused by our intent or gross negligence. - We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or hosting or authentication outages. - Unless caused by our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for the results of decisions you make based on the Service's information or for disputes arising from other users' posts.
16. Governing Law These terms and any dispute about the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court is determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
